Coco Coir
Coco Coir is a 100% organic growing medium commonly used as an additive in aroid substrates to increase water retention while maintaining good air porosity. Its fibrous structure helps hold moisture without compacting, supporting healthy root development.
Coco coir can be mixed into chunky aroid blends to slightly reduce chunk size, creating a more moisture-retentive and balanced substrate - particularly useful for young plants, cuttings, or environments with higher evaporation.
Important note:
Coco coir contains very few available nutrients. For best results, it should be buffered or used in combination with a complete fertilization routine to prevent nutrient deficiencies and ensure optimal plant growth.
Packaging
Packed in resealable ziplock bags. Sold per 5 liters. Higher quantities are packed in appropriately sized bags based on the total ordered quantity.
