X-Vitro™ Tissue Culture Acclimation Solution - Take the stress out of tissue culture acclimation.
The transition from sterile tissue culture to normal growing conditions is one of the most vulnerable stages in a plant's development.
X-Vitro™ is a specialist acclimation solution designed specifically to support tissue culture plantlets during this transition - helping young plants establish stronger roots and adapt successfully to life outside the flask.
Why acclimation is difficult
Moving from sterile, high-humidity culture to normal growing conditions is a huge shock for young plantlets.
Sudden changes in humidity, increased microbial exposure, underdeveloped roots and weak cuticles can lead to stress, stalled growth and plant loss.
X-Vitro™ is designed specifically for this transition.
How to use
- Shake the sachet well, then mix the contents into 1 liter of lukewarm water.
- Remove your plantlets from the flask and rinse away the bulk of the culture medium.
- Wash the plantlets in the X-Vitro solution, gently working any remaining agar off the roots.
- Pot into a light, airy substrate and keep humidity high, reducing it gradually over the following weeks.
One liter of solution treats roughly 5 to 10 plantlets, depending on how much you use per plant.
