Fine Seedling Mix - 5L

Fine Seedling Mix is a soilless, fine, and airy mix for seedlings and small size plants (with focus on Aroids). Enriched with worm castings that work as a light slow-release fertilizer to make the mix more nutritious for your plants. You can also add slow-release Osmocote fertilizer to this mix if you wish to make it even more nutritious or use a liquid-based fertilizer as your to-go plant food.

A new recipe (v2) is introduced from April 8! The mix is now even airier with an increased ratio of micro-chunky components, while still remaining fine and suitable for all aroid seedlings and baby plants! Now also with added zeolite and lime for a more balanced pH, Calcium and Magnesium.

Please note that one recipe doesn't fit all needs! As each plant caretaker has different watering and feeding habits, and your environment the plants are growing in, you need to adjust your watering schedule to match the substrate and how dense / water retentive it is.

As the mix is ready-made and contains organic matter like worm-casting compost and tree fern fiber, it is supposed to be used right after receiving. It's important to keep the bag open as soon as you receive it (or ideally, stored in an open container). This is to prevent mold that can develop if the mix doesn't get access to air.

The customer is responsible for how the mix is used, including the way it is adjusted to match their watering needs.
