Perlite - Various Grades
Pre-order explanation: While perlite is in stock and available, we need a few days to sift and pack it into the appropriate size bags. This process may take up to one week.
Perlite is a crucial ingredient for making the potting substrate (especially soil-free mixes) loose, well-aerated, and well-draining. Besides being an additive, perlite is often also used by itself as a substrate for starting seeds and bulbs, and as a medium for re-rooting plants. Perlite, especially of a more coarse grade, can also be used as an ingredient in your own "pon mix".
Available in 3 grades:
- Standard (approx. 2-6 mm)
- Chunky (approx. 8-15 mm)
- Extra Chunky (approx. 15-30 mm)
NOTE: Perlite may contain perlite dust and pieces both smaller and larger than the specified approximate size range!
Packed in 5/10/20 liter zip-lock bags.
Usage: Mix it in your DIY soil mix or use it as a rooting substrate.
Disclaimer & Warning: Perlite is sifted prior packing but please note that there can still be some perlite dust in bags. This is caused by friction (especially while in transit to you). Please wear a respiratory mask while working with perlite as inhaling its dust can be very harmful.
